Jolly Xmas foodie @ Acme Bar & Coffee

The christmas mood is in the air! You can see the restaurants all deck out their best in decorations and not to mentioned the malls are full of festive cheer from decorations and belting out christmas musics 

This just means that christmas menu is also on display for the diner throughout the month of December!

This place certainly looks festive after you enter.. It felt like Narnia because the whole room is decorated with ornaments that screams out Christmas!

Their menu also has changed with the seasons and there were still classic favourites of this establishment and some addition for this occassion

Nachos Trio Condimento

After much deliberation, we decided to try their starter which was Nachos Trio Condimento
This starter is relatively mediocre as the chips posed a challenge in eating them and their dips are unique in their own taste..

Next came the Main Course which was the Smoked Duck Foie Gras 

Smoked Duck Foie Gras

This dish is truly decadent as it is a plate of tender duck breast with French Foie Gras on a bed of saffron  pumpkin puree, baby kale , beetroot relish & cranberry rosemary sauce.. It was absolutely divine as the moment it arrives to your plate it just looks majestic to eat!

The duck breast was perfectly cooked and moist! It goes well with the saffron pumpkin puree and the cranberry rosemary sauce too.. The Foie gras is a nice touch as it was creamy and buttery.. Loving it! The skin was crispy but not too oil and its fragrant.

Smoked Scallop Nicoise Salad 

The other dish ordered was the Smoked Scallop Nicoise Salad.. It is a simple salad with some smoked scallop which is rather tame in terms of its smoked flavour..

Here comes Dessert! We tried their festive selection which was the Raspberry Tiramisu! 

Raspberry Tiramisu

This dessert looks festive with 3 raspberry and its dusting of snow on top of the tiramisu.. The inside of it was really full of coffee kick and in between you will get a surprise bits of Raspberry fruits in the dessert.. Really Enjoyable to eat! 

This menu is still available till New Years! So hurry and try it!
