Closed- Milk & Butter, Bangsar

Heard a lot about the milk & butter in Bangsar .. So i thought why not have a go and see what's the interesting thing in this restaurant.. It is facing the opposite of the yeast restaurant.. It isnt that far from the Bangsar Village 2 mall..
The concept of the store is so cute but minimal.. The moment we enter the store it was quite spacious with whisk as the cover for its light bulbs and the back was painted with a black background with a quote and then there are some cake decorations which is cute.. Then the furniture there is so classic and surprisingly fits the room.. The bar is so open and has a different concept which is nice to see from how a regular bar usually fitted to..

So we were seated and the menu which is a booklet was presented to us and there quite a few options.. So the price is around Rm 20-40.. So we had for lunch was a grilled salmon with tomato mango salsa and N was having a lamb burger.. The food didn't look very appetising and but the taste was fairly reasonable.. Mine was the grilled salmon with tomato mango salsa, when it arrives to me it was a plate with a bunch of nachos with a mesclun sauce and some salad and then the grilled salmon that was sitted on a tomato and mango salsa.. The salmon was cooked nicely.. It was moist, the salsa was mediocre nothing much..The salsa is just like a background for the salmon not much of flavour that could improve the taste of the dish..

The lamb burger was good according to N and the patty really has that lamb taste with not much of herbs to overpower the meaty taste.. Which is good for N.. So N was pretty satisfied with the burger..
But before the food came, it took them about 20 minutes for the food to come and the manager realised the problem which is great and we got a complimentary tiramisu for the apology of delay in cooking and serving time.. Hehe we are so lucky which in turn kept us busy with it..
The cake was nicely made and the display fridge of desserts looks nice..
Overall, it was ok just the service, price a little steep and not really affordable.. Maybe would return for desserts..

Seen alot of dessert choices like lemon meringue tart, chocolate tart etc.. So you could give it a try for its desserts..
