Tai Lei Loi Kei & CoffeeMania @ PV128, Setapak

Macau food is becoming more popular as the Taiwanese food.. Heard alot about the representative of the macau food which is Tai Lei Loi Kei.. According to Nic, this has been expanding like crazy with outlets from across the Subang  and Klang Valley area as well..

Came here for lunch and the moment we walked in it felt like an ordinary fast food chain.. The food there is ordered at the counter and everything is self service.. This chain offered a lot varieties in terms of meal packages like for breakfast, brunch and also teatime..

The food we had for lunch
For lunch, we had was the pork chop curry mee & signature pork chop bun which both are mediocre & decent food.. These food are reasonable in price and decent in taste..
Pork Chop Curry Noodle
Pork Chop
Signature Pork Chop Bun
Milk Tea & Honey Lemon Tea

Interior
After an ordinary meal, we still have room for dessert.. So we went to CoffeeMania which is located just about 1 shop after the Tai Lei Loi Kei.. The whole cafe looks rather chic and comfy.. Initially, we both thought its only offer desserts but after checking out their menu which offers an extensive amount of food from breakfast/ brunch & lunch
Chocolate
For this visit, we ordered the chocolate & tiramisu mille crepe which in french meant A thousand layers.. Both of the crepes arrived & it just look pretty with the swirls of art which was made with chocolate ganache & also caramel sauce..
The mille crepe were done nicely and it taste wonderful, not too overly sweet for both of the chocolate & tiramisu..
Berry Explosion
For drinks, Nic ordered a cold drink called the berry explosion which really is an explosion of taste from the berries being blended.. Nice cool drink for a hot day.. The turkish coffee with milk which was ordered for myself to have a taste of the turkish coffee.. It was served with a chocolate & a glass of water with lemon.. After having my very first sip of the turkish coffee, I found out the reason why it was being served in an espresso cup as it was super bitter which is why the chocolate was there to balance it out and the water to cleanse your palette
Turkish Coffee with Milk
Verdict: Mediocre food. Nice mille crepe & coffee
