Le Bread Day @ SS2, Petaling Jaya

Its a cold Sunday in Petaling Jaya and we came across with a new cafe in the Ss2 area.. 

This shop is located at the same row of the New Paris restaurant

It is a new cafe open not long ago and it is really a suitable place for a quiet sunday as it isn't a crowded little cafe.. 

Their layout is quite simple as there is a bakery behind it and there are plenty of savoury and sweet pastries on offer which is freshly baked and limited amounts

In this plate of sweets contains a mini apple strudel, a pineapple roll and chocolate tart.. 

I had the pineapple roll which is really looks like a bolster of pineapple because in every bite of this bolster is filled with pineapple jam and some of its fruits 

Then we had the chocolate tart which is made with the puff pastry to encased that lovely and glossy chocolate ganache and its just looks perfect with it not to mention delicious too!

The savoury choice is the egg mayo sandwich.. The bread made for this sandwich is really fluffy and the egg mayo is nicely made.. The bread and pastry here are made with japanese flour 

Cafe Latte

Well for me, my mandatory drink in a cafe is the latte! Here's cafe latte is alright but slight bitterness which is usual for coffee but I still add some sugar for this drink as I drank it I can taste the bitterness and acidic notes

Chocolate mousse cake 

The chocolate mousse cake is really tall and beautiful.. It was a last minute addition for our tea time treat.. The mousse was delicate, light, airy and just the right amount of chocolate taste whereas the cake is nice but towards the end it was dry..

Verdict: Delicious pastries and nice coffee
